I don't have ...Nice looking dog and nice fish.
I don't have a shot at buffalo that large around here (IL), but I do see a lot of them--especially smallmouths--and haven't caught any. I've never put any effort into baiting an area or using any bait specifically intended for them, and I'm not versed in or equipped for the technical sort fishing you do. Any particular flavors/baits that are especially attractive to buffalo in your experience? I know there's been a few up over the 40 mark caught in some of the clearer river lakes around here like Austin and Lady Bird on some flats but most of the time buffalo don't come up shallow. I might have a spot that i'll be fishing where there are some flats that quickly drop off into almost 50 feet of water that I know there's buffs over 30 on it. The other real challenge is that buffs are really finicky and are tough to get to eat a lot of the time, but it's possibleAustin Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17939637113913904342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206561418904248192.post-80417222732413534832013-02-10T14:13:36.586-06:002013-02-10T14:13:36.586-06:00That was a well done report. They are not where I live.

GreggGregghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02623587945737239141noreply@blogger.com
